The mazes serve as a metaphor, an analogy for our very human struggle to find that ‘thing’ we are working towards; love, wealth, safety, satisfaction, amusement, escapism, adventure, and/or meaning. Our need for goals is universal, our desire to reach them is fundamentally human. It’s no surprise the labyrinth and later the maze are a persistent feature of human culture and history regardless of where and when we are from.

Every MazeArt NFT minted comes with the opportunity to redeem a hand-crafted physical maze artwork, created by our collaborator Ricky Byrne (rbyrneart.com).

Each design is produced in limited-edition batches of 10. Once a design’s run is complete, a new maze is created for the next batch — ensuring continuous artistic evolution.

The physical artwork you receive is not a replica of your NFT, but a unique physical piece within a small-edition series. This fusion of algorithmic and handcrafted creation embodies the true spirit of phygital art.

Once the mint window closes, the physical claim can no longer be made by secondary buyers — making this reward exclusive to original minters.
